Summer Stomping

Here is my contest entry for the Strangers Like Me group contest, theme 'Summer Activities'. My favourite thing to do in the summer is BBQ and hang out in the sun! But I figured Tarzan et famille would not BBQ, so picnic instead :3.

Tora is stepping through the apple pie, not dancing in it! It's based on the legend in my family that my little sister's first steps were through a quiche during a family picnic.

Terk is wondering how this is going to effect her apple pie eating prospects

I was going to try to do the picture in a slightly manga style, but as I progressed through it, doing that just made the characters look less like themselves -_- good beach though
